PitchVision AI
My project is an AI-powered baseball pitching analysis system that takes key points using computer vision and biomechanics to evaluate a player’s mechanics by tracking key points of the body—such as the shoulder, elbow, hips, and legs—through the kinetic chain, then compares those movements to optimal patterns taken from high-level players to identify inefficiencies, reduce stress on joints like the UCL and shoulder, and provide feedback that helps pitchers both prevent injury and improve performance. The user uploads a photo, video, or uses the built in webcam and instantly receives accurate feedback that will keep them healthy.

My project is about detecting and correcting yoga posture. Yoga is popular because it’s something that can be done easily at home with minimal requirements. The flip side of this, however, is that people can get injured. Because beginners don’t have live feedback, they can get hurt due to bad posture. Additionally, a trainer can be expensive and not everyone might be willing to pay for one. That’s why we created PosturePal.

By tracking 33 body points and calculating joint angles from images, videos, or live webcam input, the platform predicts hit outcomes and provides actionable feedback. It helps coaches and players improve performance using fast, data-driven biomechanical insights.
